Raf Simons has really hit on something special for Spring/Summer 11. Minimalism meets maximalism here with this clever play on color and silhouette. Notice how the shapes are simple but suddenly look very new. Cotton and parkas add a casual day wear feel and colors are more playful than usual. Returning Jil Sander customers may prefer the black, navy and whites but use the prints and brights to attract new ones. Try styling simple cotton tops with Joseph feline trousers or pairing the printed pieces with other contrasting ones from Stella McCartney.
